No âmbito dos videojogos e experiências de realidade virtual, a espacialização sonora considera-se crucial na criação de experiências imersivas e realistas.
Neste sentido, o objetivo principal deste projeto, centrou-se na utilização e exploração das tecnologias disponĆveis para o efeito que permitam comparar o som natural dos espaƧos reais com o mesmo som virtualmente espacializado e cuja anĆ”lise e desenvolvimento se prendeu com as seguintes fases:
⢠Seleção, levantamento, medição e modelação 3D com recurso ao programa Blender de três espaços distintos (Régie A e Sala Teresa Macedo, ambas na ESMAE e a Cisterna do Castelo de Marvão).
⢠Simulação acústica de dois desses espaços recorrendo ao Unity como motor de jogo, ao Fmod como ferramenta de sound design e ao Steam Audio como plugin de espacialização sonora.
In the context of video games and virtual reality experiences, sound spatialization is considered to be crucial in creating immersive and realistic experiences.
