Abstract(s)
Este Relatório Final de Estágio tem como objetivo perceber o importante papel da
gamificação no ensino e identificar os pontos fortes bem como limitações da competitividade
entre alunos na aprendizagem. Proponho-me a descobrir como é que as recompensas podem ser
benéficas para a motivação dos alunos e a desmitificar o conceito da competitividade de modo a
promover um ambiente de aprendizagem competitiva saudável.
Numa fase inicial, encontra-se uma revisão da literatura relativamente à gamificação e
competitividade no ensino em torno de autores que já exploraram o tema, juntamente com alguns
comentários relativos à pessoal prática de estágio. De seguida, encontra-se a fase do estudo
empírico de investigação-ação realizado, onde é feita uma introdução ao contexto, às questões e
objetivos e metodologias de investigação e posteriormente uma análise crítico-reflexiva sobre os
dados recolhidos, onde são encontradas evidências dos benefícios da gamificação e
competitividade na aprendizagem de inglês no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.

At an early stage, there is a literature revision on gamification and competitiveness in education, based on authors who h ave already studied the matter, alongside some comments related to my personal internship. This is subsequently followed by the empirical action-research study carried out, where an introduction is made to the context, the research questions, objectives, and methodologies, and then a critical-reflexive analysis of the data collected, where evidence is found of the benefits of gamification and competitiveness in learning English in the P1 Cycle of Basic Education.
