Abstract(s)
The monologue is a high point in the artistic career of an actor, and yet, not all actors choose to interpret it and those that do, often have a consolidated professional experience already. Using emotions as the theme to investigate the phenomenon, we identify and quantify the emotions suggested by the absence of co-actors and also by the emotional charge of the subjects - in this case, the female universe. Designed as a cross-sectional research with a qualitative approach, the direct and participant observation is made through the interpretation of a monologue and the creation of an original text for the purpose. During the study, personal and subjective experiences of the researcher did not give a definitive result but are responsible for adding the concepts - public and review - to the discussion. The public can be an integrated element and opinion-maker or critic. And indeed, at the end of the process, it is concluded that the criticism, either from the public or self-criticism, have a major impact on the behavior of actors and it is precisely how we deal with this issue emotionally that we find the answer to the problem.
