Abstract(s)
The Training Report prepared under the Masters in Teaching in Basic Education - Primary and Lower Secondary Education, aims to be a reflect on the conducted educational practice and a contribution to the personal and professional development of this graduate student, being characterized by a critical, reflective and investigative attitude. The revisitation and reflected analysis on the action and on the didactic and pedagogical options that guided it, allowed tracing a path to improve educational practices, crucial for the development of teaching identity. From this experience, one is to stress, on the one hand, the work done in the form of teaching couple, at all times of the supervision cycle, which potentiated moments of debate and reflection - and thus an informed, creative and accurate practice, based on shared principles and values. On the other hand, one also highlights the influence of the Modern School Movement philosophy in the design and implementation of the Supervised Educational Practice (SEP), which also contributed to the enhancement of cooperation among all players involved in the stage that is the educational act. Along SEP, the teaching couple favoured teaching and learning situations that would promote cooperation and communication as well as appropriate activities to attend the needs of the educational context and the best interests of the children, based on an horizontal relationship between teachers and students. Thus, founded on an exercise of constant articulation between theory and practice, provided an opportunity to experience the challenges of teaching and to understand how this can contribute to a truly free, fair and democratic society.
