Abstract(s)
Este trabalho tem como objetivo geral perceber a efetividade da
implementação das práticas das políticas públicas no que se refere à
inclusão de pessoas com deficiência visual em quatro escolas regulares
na cidade de Uberaba em Minas Gerais, Brasil. Das escolas estudadas,
duas fazem parte da rede Estadual de ensino e duas da rede Municipal.
Emprega-se o estudo de caso como percurso metodológico e os
procedimentos adotados para o alcance do objetivo incluem revisão
bibliográfica, análise documental, assim como aplicação de inquéritos
por entrevistas e por questionários com alunos, diretores, especialistas
e professores de escolas regulares de Uberaba que possuem alunos
portadores de deficiência visual. Após a análise dos dados coletados
pôde-se concluir com este estudo que há legislação sobre a inclusão
escolar que define como proceder, porém não há efetividade no
cumprimento destas leis.
