Abstract(s)
A ética está presente onde quer que haja convivência humana. Nos Institutos Federais de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia não seria diferente, inclusive com regulação no Decreto 1.171/1994. Pretende-se no presente trabalho perscrutar o significado da ética em termos organizacionais, situando a ética profissional no contexto de uma organização educativa democrática.
Busca a investigação entender como o agente público assimila o documento legal, avaliando sua percepção sobre o próprio conhecimento do código de
conduta, a importância do mesmo e a capacitação como parte do processo de gestão da ética. Além do mais, dada a natureza do órgão escolhido, essencial se faz avaliar também se o servidor vincula a ética como um valor à missão institucional. Todos esses questionamentos servirão para avaliar se as ações adotadas para aprimoramento institucional ético indicam a efetividade do sentido da criação da lei.

It seeks the investigation to understand how the public agent assimilates the legal document, evaluating its perception on the own knowledge of the code of conduct, the importance of the same and the qualification as part of the process of management of the ethics. Moreover, given the nature of the chosen organ, it is essential to evaluate whether the server links ethics as a value to the institutional mission. All these questions will serve to evaluate if the actions adopted for ethical institutional improvement indicate the effectiveness of the meaning of the creation of the law.
