Abstract(s)
do Porto (SPUP).
The collaborative management of information (GC) is widely used by organizations in various fields of activity, such as marketing, industry, information technologies and even health. This type of practice can be really beneficial to a company or organization as long as it is conveniently used. To this end, in May 2009, the Center for Common Resources and Services of the University of Porto (CRSCUP) was granted administrative and financial autonomy, with the main vocation being to provide support services that are common to UP's organic units. This center now has a shared services vision (SP) being known, currently, by U. Porto Common Resources and Services (SPUP). The natural concentration of Information Management (GI) requires a great SPUPs and schools’ challenge, since a large part of the information, procedures and history of each of the constituent entities are centralized in a single service, which will speed up in order to standardize all processes. The Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto (FADEUP) needs full and constant access to the information generated within its organization, in order to be able to optimize the resources and improve its decisions, turning it into a competitive advantage. Thus, it is intended to clearly identify and understand the management model adopted by UP / FADEUP and all associated information management practices in order to identify possible problems and to promote its optimization and enhancement through the use of technology and collaborative methods of work.
