| dc.description.abstract | O significativo envelhecimento demográfico da população portuguesa tem-nos levado a repensar as questões inerentes a esta etapa do desenvolvimento humano. Surge como necessidade uma revisão nas políticas de apoio social aos mais velhos, assim como uma atenção ao impacto que este processo tem na vida de cada pessoa. Desta forma,a intervenção psicossocial pode ser uma das respostas às necessidades desta faixa etária, com o confronto diário com as suas perdas e as suas lutas para se adaptarem às mesmas. Uma outra luta que afeta cada vez mais a camada mais velha da população é a questão da institucionalização, que aparece cada vez mais como a resposta para a sua condição. Se,por um lado, esta irá colmatar alguma necessidade, por outro, é um gatilho que poderá trazer implicações severas, quando feita de forma conflituosa. É neste contexto que surge o projeto de intervenção psicossocial "Plantar sorrisos: Projeto de intervensão psicossocial numa estrutura residencial para pessoas mais velhas" que, seguindo uma linha metodológica de Investigação Ação Participativa, teve como finalidade fomentar o bem-estar dos residentes de uma estrutura residencial para adultos mais velhos, segundo os moldes de um envelhecimento bem-sucedido e ativo, através da sua valorização pessoal e social, assim como da intervenção com as colaboradoras. O presente relatório visa retratar o processo deste projeto, desenvolvido no Lar Soares Pereira, pertencente à Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Arcos de Valdevez, tendo como premissa um trabalho coconstruído com um grupo de quatro senhoras mais velhas, uma responsável e várias colaboradoras. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The significant demographic aging of the Portuguese population has led us to rethink the issues inherent to this stage of human development. There is a need for a revision in the policies of social support for the elderly,as well as an attention to the impact that this process has on the life of each person. Thus, psychosocial intervention may be one of the answers to the needs of this age group, who is confronted daily with their lesses and their struggles to adapt to those lesses. Another struggle that affects the older layer of the population is the issue of institutionalization,which increasingly appears as the answer to their condition. lf,on the one hand,this will fill some need,on the other,it is a trigger that can have severe implications,when done in a conflictive way. lt is in this context that the project of psychosocial intervention "Pianting smiles: Project of psychosocial intervention in a residential structure for older people" arises wich, following a methodological line of lnvestigation Participatory Action, had as a purpose the promotion of the well-being of the residents of a structure residential care for older adults, following the pattern of a successful and active aging, through their personal and social appreciation, as well as the intervention with the collaborators. This report aims to portray the process of this project, developed at Lar Soares Pereira,belonging to the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Arcos de Valdevez, with the premise of a joint work with a group of four older ladies, one person in charge and several collaborators. | pt_PT |
