Abstract(s)
Objetivou-se com este trabalho identificar o quantitativo de estudantes que
abandonaram os cursos técnicos integrados ao ensino médio no período de
2010 a 2015 em um Campus do Instituto Federal do Triângulo Mineiro e os
principais fatores que contribuíram para o abandono escolar, na ótica dos
estudantes matriculados, dos que abandonaram os cursos e dos docentes.
Procurou-se também compreender as relações existentes entre eles, a fim de
sugerir medidas que possam prevenir e minimizá-lo. Esta investigação
apresenta-se como um estudo de caso, envolve pesquisa bibliográfica, análise
de documentos e aplicação de questionários eletrônicos. Os resultados
sugerem os principais fatores que influenciaram o abandono escolar: excesso
de unidades curriculares, falta de interesse pela formação profissional e de
tempo para os estudos, cursos que não correspondem às expectativas
profissionais, reprovação, dificuldades inerentes à avaliação, desinteresse,
desarticulação entre teoria e prática, recuperação paralela que não possibilita
recuperar a nota e dificuldade de aprendizagem. Observou-se que estes
fatores não influenciam o abandono escolar isoladamente, havendo sempre
uma interação entre eles sendo, portanto, um fenômeno multicausal. Neste
sentido conclui-se ser relevante à gestão escolar monitorar, avaliar e elaborar
estratégias de intervenção concomitante ao desenvolvimento dos cursos de
modo a prevenir o abandono escolar, minimizar seus efeitos sobre os
estudantes, as famílias, a sociedade e para a instituição de ensino,
contribuindo para o alcance da eficácia institucional.
This work has aim to identity the quantitative of students that abandoned the integrated technic courses to high school in 2010 to 2015 in a Brazil Institution Education and the principal factors that contributed for the school abandon of the courses. Some of the students abandon the courses and the teachers. The institution founded to comprehend the existence relation between them to suggest ways that can prevent and minimalizing this situation. This investigation presents how a case study can involve research, documents analyses and electronic application questioner. The results suggest that the principal cause is the excessive united curricular, uninteresting, disarticulation between theory and practice, parallel recuperation of results of notes that don’t contribute for the learning and difficult more. All though, realize that the factors don’t influence or cause the abandon, in this way form, having always an interaction between them and be a multiple cause phenomena that involve questions and interrelations. This way, conclude that is necessary the school director, monitor, avail and elaborate strategies of concomitant invention to development of the courses and how to prevent the school abandon, contributing to get the institutional efficacies reducing the losses and their effects about the students, their families, and the society.
