| dc.description.abstract | Este projeto teve como objetivo explorar novos materiais como alternativa aos das embalagens de take-away que se encontram em uso no presente, com vida efémera e impacto extremamente negativo no planeta. Foi necessário debruçar sobre três pilares fundamentais: a matéria, a forma e o uso da embalagem. Decorreu um extenso processo de experimentação, quer de origem animal, quer vegetal. Para que o objeto seja uma alternativa viável em termos de sustentabilidade, deverá manter-se num ciclo de vida fechado e contínuo, tendo sido por isso uma fase do projeto à volta de testes de biodegradabilidade. A forma nasceu da matéria que a condicionou, tendo sido o objetivo ter uma embalagem segura e fácil de transportar. A proposta que aqui se apresenta é resultado de um estudo de curta duração, sendo por isso um início de uma investigação material e formal que deverá continuar tendo por base as descobertas feitas ao longo destes meses. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This project aims to explore new materials for take-away packaging, in alternative to the containers used nowadays, which are of single use and of high negative impact on the planet. Three fundamental pillars of research were identified: matter, shape and use of the packaging. A long experimentation process took place, testing with both animal and vegetable origin materials. For the viability of the object, sustainability wise, a closed circuit of waste had to be designed, and for that one stage of the process was biodegradable testing. The shape evolved from the matter, conditioned by its possibilities, with the goal of designing a safe packaging, which can be easily carried. The proposal presented here is the result of these months of research, and for that we consider it to be the starting point of a thorough ongoing material and formal research. | pt_PT |
