Abstract(s)
Neste
Of this study was to develop knowledge and skills for the school and the whole educational community follow the changes, participating in projects/activities that promote education for sustainable development. In this sense, and in order to achieve the proposed objectives, it is necessary to infer what the projects in which the school participates, what degree of school community and surroundings which the intervention stock areas, in order to increase the interest and participation of all and one can say, rightly, that we are all stakeholders in education for sustainable development. To develop the research qualitative methodology using the survey intended to gather information about involvement/participation of teachers, students and operating assistants in school projects and to interview the two coordinators of projects of the group of schools in the Oporto district. The results obtained reveal dynamics generated, in schools of the group, by the various projects, Eco-Escolas and ClimACT, in particular, some changes of behaviors and attitudes to "sustainability", as separation of solid waste, energy and water saving, however far short of expectations. Based on the results, we decided to intervene at the level of the school as an object of study within easy reach, because of this space to integrate much of the everyday life of pupils, teachers and operating assistants. Apart from to a quality space, is intended to a place where you can´t miss the opportunity to promote the EDS. In this way, it is essential to develop in young people social skills that enable to construct their own models, the evaluation of the same, your questioning and decision-making.
