Abstract(s)
Num mundo em constante mudança, onde a globalização atinge também a
educação, novos desafios e papéis são colocados à escola. São-lhe exigidos
cada vez mais conhecimentos e intervenções nas mais diversas áreas.
A ocupação plena do tempo livre dos alunos é uma das necessidades a que
esta escola de hoje se vê obrigada a responder, alargando as suas ofertas
pedagógicas de forma a colmatar as necessidades e opções dos seus alunos.
São estipuladas e desenvolvidas atividades de complemento e apoio ao
desenvolvimento do aluno com vista a contribuir para uma igualdade de
oportunidades de acesso e sucesso educativo.
A alteração do funcionamento e organização das escolas trouxe a
necessidades de uma reformulação na gestão do tempo e espaço tendo em
conta o alargamento da sua oferta educativa e a permanência dos alunos na
escola por um longo período de tempo.
O recurso às atividades de acompanhamento e apoio ao desenvolvimento
dos alunos, pela sua diversidade de oferta, pela sua adaptação às
necessidades e/ou dificuldades que os alunos apresentam, pela sua eficácia,
pela sua adequação aos recursos humanos existentes, o corpo docente, é a
resposta mais ajustada.
In a changing world, where globalization also reaches education, new challenges and roles are questioned to school. It is required more and more knowledge and intervention in the most different areas. The entire occupation of the students' free time is one of the necessities that nowadays school is forced to answer, extending its pedagogical offers in order to meet the needs and options of its students. Complementary activities and support to student’s development are stipulated and developed with the view to contribute to equal opportunities for the access and educational success. The change in the functioning and organization of schools has brought the need of a reformulation in the management of time and space taking into account the expansion of its educational offer and the permanence of the students at school for a long period of time. The resource of activities to accompany and support the development of the students, due to their diversity of offer, their adaption to the needs and / or difficulties that the students have, their effectiveness, their adequacy to the existing human resources, the teachers are the most appropriate answer.
