Abstract(s)
cinco elementos: Som Ambiente, Foley, Sound Effects ou Efeitos sonoros, Voice-over e Música.
desejada.
Sound has an enormous preponderance in cinema. It can convey feelings and emotions in all existing cinematographic genres, with its thoughtful use, but also with its absence. The use of silence is very relative, as there is never a true absence of sound. When all external sounds disappear, it is possible to hear all other sounds that are more imperceptible, such as the sound of heartbeat or breathing. It is up to the Sound Designer to create the soundscapes and atmospheres representative of each cinematographic genre, be it Drama, Action, Horror or Documentary. For that, it has the help of five elements: Ambient Sound, Foley, Sound Effects, Voice-over and Music. All these elements are fundamental for the sound construction of a cinematographic work, whether in a fictional, documentary or even advertising environment. In the latter there is a greater abundance of use in music production, where in some cases the use of all the fundamental elements of sound design is not strictly necessary. Sound contrast is necessary in different types of audiovisual projects. The adequate use of silence in a cinematographic project allows the spectator a greater reflection and intimacy with the characters. It creates a bridge that, when crossed, connects the audience to the created world that is visible on the screen, leaving us in a kind of trance capable of exporting the greatest variety of desired feelings.
