Abstract(s)
O presente documento pretende aprofundar os conhecimentos de Segurança Contra IncĂȘndios em
EdifĂcios que foram consolidados e adquiridos durante o estĂĄgio curricular em ambiente empresarial. O
estågio decorreu na empresa ASL & Associados, Lda., com duração de seis meses, durante os quais foi
desenvolvido um projeto de segurança contra incĂȘndio de um estabelecimento de ensino, no distrito do
Porto.
Pode-se considerar um incĂȘndio como a ocorrĂȘncia de um fogo incontrolĂĄvel que ganha rapidamente
grandes proporçÔes e que é capaz de provocar todo o tipo destruição. Como tal, existe a necessidade de
dotar os edifĂcios e recintos de equipamentos capazes de limitar o risco de ocorrĂȘncia de um incĂȘndio,
assim com a propagação de fogo e fumo, bem como facilitar a evacuação dos ocupantes e intervenção
dos bombeiros.
Desta forma e apĂłs grandes incĂȘndios que ocorreram no passado em Portugal, como por exemplo o
incĂȘndio que ocorreu nos ArmazĂ©ns do Chiado em Lisboa, houve a necessidade de impor leis mais
exigentes, de modo a reduzir o risco de eclosĂŁo de um incĂȘndio.
A atual legislação mesmo sendo maioritariamente prescritiva, tenta definir objetivos de segurança mais
concretos e especĂficos. Desta forma serĂĄ descrita a legislação aplicĂĄvel ao caso em estudo,
nomeadamente Decreto-lei nÂș 220/2008, de 12 de Novembro, que estabelece o Regime JurĂdico da
Segurança Contra IncĂȘndios em EdifĂcios e a Portaria nÂș 1532/2008, de 29 de Dezembro Regulamento
TĂ©cnico das CondiçÔes de Segurança Contra IncĂȘndios em EdifĂcios e Recintos, bem como as peças
desenhadas onde constam as exigĂȘncias impostas pela legislação.
This document intends to deepen the knowledge of Fire Safety in Buildings that were consolidated and acquired during the internship in a business environment. The internship took place in the company ASL & Associados, Lda., during six months, where a fire safety project was developed at an educational institution in the district of Porto. A fire can be considered an occurrence of an uncontrollable burn that quickly reaches big proportions and that can bring all type of destruction. Thus, there is a need to prepare buildings and enclosures with equipment capable of limiting the risk of fire and limiting the spread of fire and smoke, as well as facilitating the evacuation of occupants and consequently intervention of firefighters. In this way, and after large fires that occurred in the past, such as the fire that occurred in Armazéns do Chiado in Lisbon, there was a need to impose more stringent laws in order to reduce the risk of fire. The current legislation, even though it is mostly prescriptive, tries to define more concrete and specific safety objectives. In this way, the legislation applicable to the case under study will be described, namely Decree-Law no. 220/2008, 12 November, which establishes the Legal Regime of Fire Safety and Ordinance No. 1532/2008, of 29 December Technical Regulation of the Conditions Of Fire Safety in Buildings and Enclosures, as well as the drawn pieces that contain the requirements imposed by the legislation.
