Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de estágio foi elaborado ao longo do 2º ano do Mestrado em Ensino de Educação Musical no Ensino Básico (IPP – ESE), no âmbito da unidade curricular Prática de Ensino Supervisionada.
O primeiro capítulo descreve o que fui observando, a nível do ensino e prática da música, ao longo do ano letivo 2021/22, quando fui professor estagiário de Educação Musical.
O segundo capítulo é dedicado à descrição da escola e da turma onde lecionei, bem como a uma reflexão sobre todo o estágio, incluindo as minhas aulas e experiência enquanto professor.
Por fim, o terceiro capítulo foca-se no projeto de investigação, no qual é feito o estudo sobre o desenvolvimento de competências sociais através da Educação Musical. Para tal, foi realizada uma análise de literatura, bem como entrevistas a professores da disciplina, com o objetivo de perceber melhor o papel da música no desenvolvimento das crianças e jovens.
Conclui-se que a música tem o poder de desenvolver várias competências nas crianças e jovens, nomeadamente, as socias. Mas, para tal, é necessário o devido investimento, não só material, mas sobretudo a nível da qualidade do ensino de Educação Musical e da promoção da música como uma componente curricular importante.
This report was developed during the second year of the Master’s degree in Teaching of Music Education in Basic Education (IPP – ESE), within the scope of the curricular unit Supervised Teaching Practice. The first chapter describes what I observed, in terms of teaching and practicing music, throughout the 2021/22 school year, during my internship as a Music Education teacher. The second chapter is dedicated to the description of the school and the class where I taught, including a reflection about my own classes and experience as a teacher, during the whole internship. Finally, the third chapter focuses on the research project, in which the study on the development of social skills through Music Education is carried out. For this, a literature review was performed, as well as interviews with teachers of the subject at hand, in order to better understand the role of music in the development of children and young people. The results show that music has the power to develop various skills in children and young people, namely social ones. But, for that, it is necessary the due investment, not only material, but above all in terms of the quality of the teaching of Music Education and the promotion of music as an important curricular component.
