Abstract(s)
The project of hydraulic building networks is especially important in the design of buildings, being necessary to comply with the main national and municipal regulatory requirements for its licensing. Also, it is very important to provide a set of essential information for an adequate process diligence and respective approval. However, the entity responsible not always provides a clear indication of the criteria to be considered, nor of the information that will have to be provided for a correct and efficient evaluation of the process. On the other hand, there are often recurrent project errors that could be avoided with a clear indication of good practice examples that could be presented to every requester, avoiding many reprobation or corrections during the licensing process. In this sense, the present internship, carried out at the company Águas do Porto, EM aims to contribute and fill this lack of information. In the first place, it was provided a systematization of the main documents and steps needed for the licensing process. On the other hand, at technical level, there was also the clear objective of developing a basis for a manual of good practices in the conception and execution of hydraulic building networks where it is intended, to clarify some doubts and minimize existing gaps with practical examples. It should be noted that, in the latter case, the objective was to provide a set of technical elements that could help the design and execution of hydraulic networks in buildings located in the municipality of Porto, either in the project phase and in the construction phase, in accordance with: (i) the General Regulation of the Public Systems and Building networks for Water Distribution and Wastewater Drainage (RGSPPDADAR), (ii)the Regulation of the Public and Municipal Systems of Water Distribution and Wastewater Drainage of the Municipal Water and Sanitation Services (RSPPDADADSMAS) of Porto and (iii) other legislation in force.
