Abstract(s)
Investigação-ação em torno das relações de influência e interdependência entre gesto, som, escuta e corpo, partindo da proposta de integrar música e dança de forma indissociável, sem hierarquias nem funções subordinadas. A ressonância e a experiência partilhada guiaram o processo de trabalho, de forma experimental, exploratória e expandida.
Neste trabalho foram criados instrumentos que se colam ao corpo e que são ativados através de gestos do corpo inteiro; construídos com materiais que outrora tiveram outras funções; apresentados na estreia de um concerto. Desta investigação nasceram três objetos artísticos: o concerto, uma partitura (manual de instruções/livro de fotografia) e um diário audiovisual (registo do processo e da apresentação).
A theoretical and practical research exploring the relationships of influence and interdependence between gesture, sound, listening, and body, based on the proposal to integrate music and dance in an inseparable way, without hierarchies or subordinate functions. Resonance and shared experience guided the process in an experimental, exploratory, and expanded manner. In this project, instruments were created that are attached to the body and are activated through gestures of the whole body; built using materials that once served other purposes; and presented in the premiere of a performative concert. From this research, three artistic objects were born: the concert, a score (instruction manual/photography book), and an audiovisual diary (documenting the process and performance).
