Abstract(s)
Atualmente conseguimos observar que os mercados se encontram cada vez mais competitivos, surgindo assim a necessidade diária da diferenciação das empresas em relação aos seus concorrentes.
Esta procura pela diferenciação torna inevitável a análise dos processos e procedimentos internos utilizados pelas empresas, sendo que a elaboração deste relatório tem como objetivo a análise detalhada dos processos inerentes ao departamento logístico de uma empresa inserida no ramo alimentar dos congelados.
A necessidade, por parte das empresas, da execução de um mapeamento de processos é cada vez maior, uma vez que através dele estas conseguem adquirir uma maior consciencialização relativamente ao impacto que cada processo e ação tem, de forma generalizada, não só no departamento como também na empresa.
A recolha dos dados fornecidos, através do mapeamento de processos executado, possibilitou a elaboração de uma série de fluxogramas e textos de apoio que permitiram, aos intervenientes deste departamento, a conceção de uma imagem visual mais completa de todos os procedimentos realizados, desde a receção de matéria-prima, até à expedição do produto final para os clientes.
Este relatório expõe o trabalho desenvolvido que permitiu ainda à empresa a criação de um suporte documental onde estão compilados todos os procedimentos respeitantes ao departamento, bem como a especificação das funções dos seus colaboradores.
Para além do mapeamento de processos, foi também executada uma Análise SWOT. Nesta etapa foram analisados os fatores internos e externos causadores de um impacto direto no negócio da empresa, que por vezes pode não ser positivo.
Também foi possível ilustrar e dar a conhecer o posicionamento da empresa no mercado em que está inserida e que estratégias deve adotar para impulsionar o crescimento e desenvolvimento do seu negócio.
Currently, we can see that markets are getting more competitive, thus resulting in companies needing to differentiate themselves from their competitors. This search for differentiation makes an analysis of the internal processes and procedures used by companies inevitable. This report aims to provide a detailed analysis of the processes inherent in the logistics department of a company operating in the frozen food sector. The need, on the part of companies, to carry out a process mapping is increasing. As a result of this, the companies can acquire a greater awareness of the impact that each process and action has in the department and in the wider company. The collection of the data, through the mapping of the evolved process, made it possible to create a series of flowcharts and support texts that allowed the stakeholders of this department to create a more complete picture of all the procedures performed, from the purchase of raw materials to shipping the final product to customers. This report also gives the company the creation of a documental support where all the procedures relating to the department are compiled, as well as details of its employee’s day to day roles. In addition to the process mapping, a SWOT analysis was performed. At this stage, the internal and external factors causing a direct impact on the company's business were incentives, which sometimes may not be positive. It was also possible to illustrate and make known the company's position in the market in which it operates and what strategy it should adopt to drive the growth and development of its business.
