Abstract(s)
A presente pesquisa integra-se no estudo da educação profissional que traz como orientações nos documentos oficiais a integração curricular realizada por meio da interdisciplinaridade. O escopo dessa pesquisa é compreender o processo de integração do currículo da educação profissional integrada ao ensino médio de um campus da Rede Federal de Ensino. Como suporte teórico, recorremos a autores que trabalham com a integração curricular, currículo, políticas curriculares, bem como, a legislação pertinente a modalidade de ensino. Enquanto objeto de estudo, o ensino técnico integrado ao ensino médio, normatizado pelo decreto 5154/2004, é uma modalidade de ensino que prevê a formação profissional e a progressão nos estudos. A pesquisa é um estudo de caso e emprega como instrumentos de recolha de dados o questionário e a análise documental. A abordagem mista, que recorre a instrumentos de coleta de dados das abordagens quantitativa e qualitativa, foi a mais indicada para a elaboração desse trabalho. Como resultado, observa-se que os documentos institucionais estão alinhados com as orientações legais e os professores analisam essa modalidade de Ensino com ressalvas. Por outro lado, constata-se que é preciso avançar para a sua efetiva concretização, buscando a complementaridade da integração e, como consequência, a melhoria da qualidade. Dessa forma, conclui-se que é é fundamental investir na educação profissional como meio de garantir uma educação de qualidade.
The present research is integrated in the study of the professional education that brings as guidelines in the official documents the curricular integration accomplished through interdisciplinary. The scope of this research is to understand the integrating process of the professional education curriculum integrated to the high school of a campus of the Federal Network Education. As a theoretical support, we have recourse to authors who work with curricular integration, curriculum, curricular policies, as well as, the relevant legislation to the teaching modality. As an object of study, technical teaching integrated with secondary education, standardized by decree 5154/2004, it is an educational modality that provides for professional training and progression in studies. The research is a case study and uses the questionnaire and the documentary analysis as instruments of data collection. The mixed approach, which uses data collection tools from the quantitative and qualitative approaches, was the most appropriate for the elaboration of this work. As a result, it is observed that the institutional documents are aligned with the legal guidelines and the teachers positively analyze this Teaching modality. On the other hand, it is clear that it is necessary to move towards its effective performance, seeking the complementarity of integration and, as a consequence, the improvement of quality. Thus, it is concluded that it is crucial to invest in professional education as a means of guaranteeing quality education.
