De forma a concluir o Mestrado em Design da Escola Superior de Media, Arte e
Design (ESMAD) foi escolhida a vertente de Estágio Curricular, integrando a equipa de
trabalho do Cachupa Creative Studio e colaborando na resposta a vários projetos, numa
tentativa de encontrar uma área em que se pudesse especificar no futuro.
Este estágio teve orientação da Professora Doutora Cristina Lousada Soares, e o
acompanhamento do designer Pedro Fragoso Lopes, fundador e membro da empresa
acolhedora.
A escolha da entidade acolhedora possibilita não só a abordagem do tema de
Design Social, visto que a empresa direciona todo o seu trabalho para o impacto social,
como a exploração de várias áreas do Design.
Ao longo do Estágio foram vários os projetos desenvolvidos, tendo sido exploradas
várias áreas, sendo que a área do Motion Design acabou por se destacar como a área mais
explorada. São apresentados também os vários desafios encontrados ao longo do Estágio,
desde conseguir corresponder com as necessidades dos clientes como enfrentar
imprevistos.
A presente dissertação serve como registo de todo o percurso referente ao Estágio
Curricular, apresentando reflecções sobre os projetos desenvolvidos, focando-se
sobretudo nas considerações a ter quando se trabalha em Design Social e a exploração
do Design em novas ferramentas de trabalho.
In order to complete the Master's degree in Design at the School of Media, Arts, and Design (ESMAD), the Curricular Internship track was chosen, integrating the work team of Cachupa Creative Studio and collaborating on various projects in an attempt to find a specific area for future specialization. This internship was supervised by Professor Cristina Lousada Soares, Ph.D., and supported by designer Pedro Fragoso Lopes, founder and member of the hosting company. The choice of the hosting entity enabled not only the approach to Social Design, as the company directs all its work towards social impact, but also the exploration of various design areas. Throughout the internship, several projects were developed, encompassing diverse fields, with Motion Design standing out as the most explored area. The challenges encountered during the internship are also presented, from meeting clients' needs to facing unexpected situations. This dissertation serves as a record of the entire journey related to the curricular internship, providing reflections on the projects developed, focusing primarily on considerations when working in Social Design and the exploration of Design in new work tools.
