Abstract(s)
This internship report was conceived within the scope of the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice (PES), which is integrated in the 2nd year of the Master's in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education (CEB) and Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the 2nd CEB. This document intends to constitute an effective basis for exposing the work developed by the master's student throughout the curricular unit in question and consequent reflection on it, thus promoting a future improvement of pedagogical practices. Throughout this report, among others, there are some theoretical and legal assumptions that were underlying the action of the master's student and have a high relevance in the training of teachers, followed by the characterizations of the educational contexts in which the master's student implemented his regencies. Next, an exhibition of a selection of some of these regencies is carried out, with a consequent reflection on them. Strengthening the belief in research in education, the conceptualization, implementation and subsequent presentation and analysis of data and conclusions of a research project developed by the master's student, in which it was intended to work with a class of the 1st CEB on the subject of healthy eating, are presented. To this end, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education was used, in order to understand how the latter can enhance learning on the subject in question and the consequent manifestation in healthier eating habits. Overall, the master's student was able to interact with different contexts, taught classes using different materials and, again, reflected on all the work developed. Underlying all this, there was an identification of some of his strengths and, above all, points that should continue to be improved on, in a perspective of constant evolution.
