Este relatório final de estágio trata-se de um relato de experiência que visa demonstrar se o uso da ferramenta Digital Storytelling apresenta vantagens sobre a forma tradicional de contar histórias no que concerne à aprendizagem de inglês no 1º ciclo do ensino básico.
De forma a avaliar esta hipótese, foi desenvolvido um estudo de caso com 79 alunos do 4º ano do Ensino Básico. Aos intervenientes foi contada uma história sem quaisquer recursos digitais e, de forma a avaliar a sua compreensão da mesma, foi-lhes requerido o preenchimento de um questionário com um total de 6 questões referentes à história. Após 30 dias, a mesma história foi novamente contada, mas numa vertente digital, sendo que o preenchimento do mesmo questionário também foi solicitado aos participantes.
Desta forma, os resultados obtidos indicam que o digital storytelling é um recurso mais vantajoso do que a forma tradicional de contar histórias.
