Abstract(s)
Os problemas de mobilidade urbana influenciam muito a qualidade de vida dos cidadãos. Deve-se, por isso, procurar soluções inovadoras e diversificadas em função das características físicas, geográficas e sociais específicas de cada cidade e da sua envolvente, promovendo uma interação pacífica entre o automóvel, bicicleta e peões, de forma a melhorar a qualidade de vida.
É nesse sentido que se insere o presente relatório de estágio, realizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Engenharia Civil do ISEP. O estágio curricular realizado na CACAO - CIVIL ENGINEERING teve como objeto de estudo a elaboração do projeto de execução de arruamentos da Via Circular Urbana da Póvoa de Varzim - Troço Norte, que consiste na definição de uma solução de uma alameda que atravessará o Parque da Cidade e que dará continuidade à Via Circular Urbana da cidade.
Com base em critérios normativos, pretende-se obter uma via segura, cómoda para o utente, que satisfaça a procura de tráfego, que se integre no meio ambiente nas melhores condições possíveis e cujos custos de construção e conservação sejam aceitáveis.
Após um enquadramento do tema e uma apresentação do estágio, expõem-se alguns elementos normativos considerados relevantes para a realização deste projeto.
Posteriormente descrevem-se detalhadamente as opções tomadas na elaboração do projeto de execução da Via Circular Urbana.
Por fim, sintetizam-se as principais conclusões dos estudos efetuados e perspetiva-se a investigação futura a realizar no âmbito desta temática.
Urban mobility issues have a great influence on citizens life quality. Innovative and diversified solutions must be hunted according to the specific physical, geographical and social features of each city and its surroundings, promoting a peaceful interaction between the car, bicycle and pedestrians in order to improve life quality. It is in this sense that this report of internship, carried out within the scope of ISEP’s Master in Civil Engineering, is inserted. The curricular internship held at CACAO - CIVIL ENGINEERING had as its object of study the elaboration of the project for the execution of streets of the Urban Circular Way of Póvoa de Varzim - Northern Section, which consists on the definition of a solution of a street that will cross the City Park and will provide continuity to the city’s Urban Circular Way. Based on normative criteria, the aim is to obtain a safe and user-friendly way, that meets traffic demand and integrates into the environment in the best possible conditions and whose construction and conservation costs are acceptable. After a theme’s framework and a presentation of the internship, some normative elements considered relevant for the accomplishment of this project are presented. Thereafter, the options taken in the elaboration of the project of execution of the Urban Circular Way are described in detail. Finally, the main conclusions of the studies are synthesized and further researches on the topic are suggested.
