O presente relatório tem como principal objetivo compreender se o uso da narrativização e do role
playing podem melhorar a interação oral dos alunos no ensino de inglês no 1.º Ciclo, e se possui
lugar no processo de ensino-aprendizagem dos nossos alunos. Abordaremos três questões de
investigação às quais tentaremos responder, avaliando no processo o papel que a narrativização tem
na aprendizagem das crianças e como o role play, como uma vertente do jogo de faz-de-conta,
fundamental na vida das crianças, pode auxiliar o desenvolvimento das mesmas no uso da língua
inglesa, e que recursos contribuem para esse desenvolvimento. Recorreu-se a uma metodologia de
investigação qualitativa que visava uma melhor compreensão dos resultados.

The main purpose of this report is to understand whether the use of narrativization and role playing can improve students' oral interaction when teaching English in Primary School, and whether it has a place in our students' teaching-learning process. We will address three research questions which we will try to answer, evaluating in the process the role that narrativization plays in children's learning and how role play, as an aspect of make-believe play, which is fundamental in children's lives, can help their development in the use of the English language; and which resources contribute to that development. A qualitative research methodology was used to gain a better understanding of the results.
