Abstract(s)
The work developed by me in this paper aims to approach plurilingualism in teaching a second language and awaken students to the need to communicate effectively and enable them to find meaning in their learning. Aims to show that, through the plurilingual approach in the classroom through the lexicon and comparative grammar it is possible the transmission of cultural and semantic values and mutual understanding that help the student to understand the relation between words with the culture of any people. It also intends to show that plurilingualism is presented, due to their characteristics, as an appropriate tool in teaching vocabulary and grammar, allowing the engage of students in the search of meanings and interpretations, helping them to develop not only their linguistic skills but also multicultural ones. This paper presents a theoretical part, where the theoretical and methodological principles are explored underlying plurilingualism that support the proposals made in the second part, which are essentially practical.
