Abstract(s)
Os gestores responsáveis pela administração de instituição pública de ensino no Brasil enfrentam diversos desafios quanto à disponibilidade de informações relevantes para a tomada de decisão sobre os rumos da organização. Com esta investigação identificou-se a situação existente no campus Venâncio Aires do IFSul quanto às informações disponíveis e a metodologia já adotada, através da pesquisa qualitativa realizada junto aos gestores administrativos e do ensino, pesquisa e extensão. A partir disso, concluiu-se que o balanced scorecard poderia ser implementado de forma a proporcionar informações importantes e inter-relacionadas, tendo como eixo principal a missão institucional, tornando-se uma ferramenta de subsídio às decisões e ao planejamento estratégico do campus. Apresentam-se também orientações para a implantação e, por fim, sugerem-se novos estudos a respeito do uso do balanced scorecard no âmbito do IFSul.
The managers responsible for the administration of public educational institutions in Brazil face several challenges regarding the availability of relevant information when making decisions about the organization's guidance. This research identified the situation in IFSUL Venâncio Aires campus, on available information and methodology already adopted through a qualitative research carried out with administrative managers and teaching, research and extension. Due to this, it can be inferred that the balanced scorecard could be implemented in way to provide important and interrelated information, using the institutional mission as main axis, turning into a tool to subsidize the decisions and strategic planning of the campus. A guideline for implementation is also presented, and, finally, we suggest new studies related to the application of balanced scorecard in scope of IFSul.
