Abstract(s)
Politécnico do Porto.
Supervisionada (PES).

This report is part of the Master in Music Education, branch of Musical Training of the Higher School of Education and Higher School of Music and Performing Arts of the Polytechnic lnstitute of Porto. The document is organized in three chapters. The first chapter presents usa reflection on the learning of music together and a description of the lnternship Pole, in which the partnerships, the faculty, the pedagogical offer are referred and the characterization of the Musical Training discipline and the respective classes where the Supervised Teaching Practice (STP) was carried out. The second chapter reflects the Supervised Teaching Practice and its phases: observation, planning, teaching, evaluation and reflection. Finally, the third chapter for the Research Project developed during the current school year, whose theme is Contemporary Pedagogical Currents in Musical Formation: meetings and disagreements in a troubled history. The research intended, on one hand, to understand if the different contemporary pedagogical currents, created by the so-called New School, are familiar and are integrated in the pedagogical practices developed within the discipline of Musical Training and on the other hand, to understand the interrelationship between these currents and the different musical education principies. For the realization of the project, a data collection was carried out through a questionnaire survey to Musical Training teachers, as well as its treatment through a content analysis. The results point to a weak theoretical knowledge of the concepts involved, although, in the realization of their activities they resort to many of the assumptions defined, both by contemporary pedagogical currents and by the musical education.
