Abstract(s)
A presente investigação tem o objetivo de analisar a contribuição da ética
na mediação de conflito no ambiente escolar de uma escola da rede estadual
no município de Iguaba Grande, no estado do Rio de Janeiro. Fizemos uso de
uma metodologia de natureza qualitativa, com estudo de caso. Para fins de
recolha de dados, aplicamos entrevistas ao gestor da escola, a dois
orientadores educacionais, a dois professores, a um coordenador, a um
inspetor de alunos, a dois responsáveis (pais de alunos) e a seis alunos da
unidade. Todas as entrevistas foram gravadas em áudio, transcritas e validadas
pelos participantes. Fixamos em nossos estudos uma abrangente revisão da
literatura que compreendeu estudo histórico, as relações interpessoais no
contexto estudado e legislação referente ao tema abordado. A informação
recolhida nos possibilitou compreender e dimensionar o papel da ética como
recurso na mediação de conflito, na ação pedagógica, assim como sua
influência junto aos demais atores envolvidos nesse cenário. Os resultados
apontados nos revelam que a escola de um modo geral compreende o que
representa a ética e sua importância no ambiente escolar, entretanto ainda há
bastante a ser feito para que ela se corporifique com raízes verdadeiras à
cultura escolar.
The purpose of this research is to analyse the contribution of ethics in conflict mediation in the school environment. Based on a qualitative methodology, this is a descriptive type case stuty that involved a school Education Center of Iguaba Grande city en the state of Rio de Janeiro. For data collection purposes, we applied interviews to the school director, two educational counselors, two teachers, one coordinator, one student inspector, two student parents and six students from the unit. All the interviews were recorded in audio, transcribed and validated by the participants. We have established in our studies a comprehensive review of the literature that included historical study, interpersonal relations in the studied context and legislation regarding the topic addressed. The information gathered allowed us to understand and to dimension the role of ethics as a resource in mediating conflict, in pedagogical action, as well as its influence with the other actors involved in this scenario The results show that the school generally understands what ethics represents and its importance in the school environment, although there is still a lot to be done so that it can be embodied with true roots in the school culture.
