Identificação de Perigos e Avaliação dos Riscos no Setor das Inspeções Automóveis

Abstract(s)
Com o parque automóvel a crescer cada vez mais em Portugal, as empresas afetas ao setor devem acompanhar essa evolução. O reflexo desse aumento é o número de colaboradores que tem vindo a crescer nos últimos anos que trabalham direta ou indiretamente no setor automóvel. O setor em es-tudo, de inspeções automóveis, não foge à regra e conta com uma evolução anual a cada ano, do número de inspeções automóveis efetuadas, o que em contexto de SST-saúde e segurança no traba-lho tem reflexo na exposição cada vez maior aos perigos inerentes da atividade. O tema em estudo é pertinente no contexto da literatura disponível, pois na relação específica a este setor é muito escas-sa. Este tema inovador tornou-se uma oportunidade para desenvolver este projeto, pois ficaram co-nhecidos resultados de SST que até à data ainda não tinham sido estudados, e que podem ser utili-zados no apoio a todas as organizações afetas ao setor, resultando numa melhoria da prevenção através da adaptação dos organismos de ITV-Inspeção Técnica de Veículos a esta realidade. A meto-dologia adotada consistiu numa revisão de literatura e recolha de informações em entidades relacio-nadas com o tema de estudo, entrevistas aos colaboradores da organização onde foi efetuado o es-tudo e uma avaliação “In situ” da qualidade do ar e ambiente térmico. Após a análise destes dados elaborou-se uma avaliação de riscos utilizando o método William T. Fine, NTP 330 e a norma ISO 7730:2005, podendo o estudo servir como ponto de referência para outras entidades que se revêm neste problema e queiram aproveitar os resultados obtidos. Investigação-ação para tornar estes lo-cais de trabalho num ambiente mais seguro para a segurança dos trabalhadores, com reflexo no ab-sentismo que também é de extrema importância para a gestão de topo da organização.
With the number of vehicles in Portugal growing more and more, companies in the sector must keep up with this trend. This increase is reflected in the number of employees who have been working directly or indirectly in the automotive sector, which has been increasing in recent years. The sector under study, automotive inspections, is no exception to the rule and has seen an annual increase in the number of vehicle inspections carried out, which in the context of OSH - health and safety at work is reflected in the increasing exposure to the inherent dangers of the activity. The topic under study is relevant in the context of the available literature, as there is very little specific literature on this sector. This innovative topic became an opportunity to develop this project, as OSH results that had not yet been studied to date became known, and which can be used to support all organizations in the sector, resulting in improved prevention through the adaptation of ITV - Technical Vehicle Inspection bodies to this reality. The methodology adopted consisted of a literature review and collection of information from entities related to the study topic, interviews with employees of the organization where the study was carried out and an “In situ” assessment of the air quality and thermal environment. After analyzing these data, a risk assessment was prepared using the William T. Fine method, NTP 330 and the ISO 7730:2005 standard. The study can serve as a reference point for other entities that identify with this problem and wish to take advantage of the results of this study. Action research to make these workplaces a safer environment for the safety of workers, with an impact on absenteeism, which is also extremely important for the organization's top management.
