A elaboração deste relatório de estágio insere-se na Unidade Curricular de Prática de Ensino
Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Português e História e
Geografia de Portugal no 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, da Escola Superior de Educação do Politécnico
do Porto, e corresponde a uma parte do processo para a obtenção do grau de Mestre. O presente
documento reflete o trabalho que foi realizado ao longo do ano letivo de 2023/2024, período
durante o qual a mestranda desenvolveu o estágio em ambos os ciclos de ensino referidos,
articulando teoria e prática pedagógica. Por isso, o principal objetivo consiste em refletir sobre os
conhecimentos científicos e científico-pedagógicos adquiridos ao longo da formação,
demonstrando como os mesmos fundamentaram a prática pedagógica da professora em formação
e contribuíram para o desenvolvimento de um perfil profissional crítico e reflexivo. Deste modo,
neste relatório, serão apresentados os pressupostos teóricos, normativos e legais que orientaram
as atividades pedagógicas realizadas, evidenciando a construção e a evolução do perfil docente da
mestranda. Ademais, este relatório inclui uma componente investigativa, na qual se procurou
perceber se a técnica de comunicação debate, em que se discutem valores, pode potenciar a
adoção de mecanismos linguísticos de cortesia por parte de alunos do 4.º ano de escolaridade.
Assim, foram dinamizados quatro debates, em que os alunos tiveram a oportunidade de
apresentar os seus argumentos em relação ao valor em destaque, da forma mais cortês possível,
utilizando, para isso, diversificados mecanismos de cortesia linguística, com vista a uma
comunicação mais ajustada e empática.

The preparation of this internship report is part of the Supervised Teaching Practice course of the Master's Degree in Teaching for the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Portuguese and History and Geography of Portugal for the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, and it constitutes a part of the process for obtaining the Master's degree. This document reflects the work carried out throughout the academic year of 2023/2024, during which the student undertook the internship in both teaching cycles mentioned, integrating theory and pedagogical practice. Therefore, the main objective is to reflect on the scientific and scientific-pedagogical knowledge acquired throughout the training, demonstrating how they underpinned the pedagogical practice of the pre-service teacher and contributed to the development of a critical and reflective professional profile. Thus, in this report, the theoretical, normative, and legal assumptions that guided the pedagogical activities carried out will be presented, highlighting the construction and evolution of the student teacher's teaching profile. Furthermore, this report includes an investigative component, in which an effort was made to understand whether the debate communication technique, in which values are discussed, can enhance the adoption of linguistic courtesy mechanisms by 4th-grade students. In this context, four debates were organized, providing students the opportunity to present their arguments on the value in focus in the most courteous way possible, using various linguistic courtesy mechanisms to foster more appropriate and empathetic communication.
