Abstract(s)
Given the pandemic situation that took hold in 2020, the cultural sector was forced to interrupt its activity for a long period, until the DGS (Direção Geral de Saúde) stipulated some preventive measures in order to allow the return of the public to cultural institutions. Faced with this scenario, cultural institutions and professionals had to reinvent themselves in order to continue their activity, despite the consecutive and long confinements to which we were subjected. Several concerts, dance shows, theater plays, conferences, seminars and other types of events became available and were transmitted online. Also INED - ESE's research center - has adapted to the situation, continuing to produce its scientific events, but online. Being this a new production method for the institution, there was a period of adaptation and discovery on how to realize and enhance the production of an online event. It is in this sense that this Master's project emerges, with the intention of contributing to the elaboration of a guide for the production of online events, which brings together all the information and procedures that should be adopted taking into account the differences in the production of a presential event. This guide comes in the form of an ebook, which allows information to be condensed and gathered in a simple way, and provides easy access to interested people. For this e-book, the information was collected not only through research on the production of online events, but also through the experience obtained as an INED collaborator student who was part of the assistance and technical commission teams of the events that took place between 2021 and 2022.
