Abstract(s)
A migração do Colégio Agrícola de Frederico Westphalen (CAFW), uma escola vinculada à Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, para o Instituto Federal Farroupilha (IFFar) – Campus Frederico Westphalen teve impacto na vida e na rotina de muitas pessoas e gerou dúvidas e incertezas em relação ao desfecho desta ação. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho procura identificar as implicações e o impacto da migração de escolas vinculadas para os institutos federais através de um estudo de caso que comparou o CAFW com o IFFar – Campus Frederico Westphalen. Para alcançar os objetivos da pesquisa optou-se por uma abordagem metodológica qualitativa, valendo-se da utilização de um estudo de caso exploratório, e empregaram-se inquéritos por entrevistas semiestruturadas a indivíduos que poderiam contribuir de maneira plena para o estudo e análise/pesquisa documental. Os resultados mostraram que houve diversas motivações para a migração e que apesar dos contratempos, de maneira geral, a mesma se mostrou eficaz, eficiente e efetiva tendo, ainda, sido possível identificar as implicações e o impacto provenientes dessa mudança. Desse modo, os resultados deste trabalho permitem entender melhor os motivos da migração e situar em que fase o processo se encontra e desta forma fundamentar o plano de ação dando assim o seu contributo para a melhoria do sistema educacional, além de encetar uma linha de investigação para estudos futuros sobre o tema em análise, ainda pouco explorado e servir de base para outras escolas vinculadas, em situação semelhante, que desejam fazer a migração.
The migration from the Colégio Agrícola de Federico Westphalen (CAFW), a linked school to the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, to the Instituto Federal Farroupilha (IFFar) - Campus Frederico Westphalen had an impact on life and the routine of many people and generated doubts and uncertainties regarding to the outcome of this action. In this sense, the present work seeks to identify the implications and the impact of the migration of linked schools to the federal institutes through a case study that compared the CAFW with the IFFar - Campus Frederico Westphalen. To achieve the objectives of the research, we chose a qualitative methodological investigation, using an exploratory case study, and semi-structured interviews with individuals who could contribute fully to the study and documentary analysis/research. The results showed that there were several motivations for the migration and that in spite of the setbacks, in general, it was effective, efficient and effective, and it was also possible to identify the implications and the impact coming from this change. Thus, the results of this work allow a better understanding of the reasons for migration and to situate at what stage the process is and thus to base the action plan thus giving its contribution to the improvement of the educational system, in addition to initiating a line of research for future studies on the subject under analysis, yet little explored theme and serve as a basis for other similarly linked schools wishing to migrate.
