| dc.description.abstract | Objectivo: Descrever o caso de uma mulher de 30 anos com vaginismo, e a integração da fisioterapia na abordagem Clássica da Terapia Sexual. Explorar a experiência da mulher relativamente à terapia, entendendo-se como terapia a conjugação da terapia sexual e da Fisioterapia, e compreender a percepção da mulher sobre as mudanças originadas pela inclusão da fisioterapia no tratamento. Métodos: Descrição da intervenção e técnicas utilizadas neste caso em particular. Análise da Entrevista de Mudança do Cliente em follow-up. Resultados: Completa resolução do caso após integração da Fisioterapia em 9 sessões. Discussão: Adicionar fisioterapia no tratamento do vaginismo parece ter um efeito positivo na resolução do caso visto garantir que os exercícios pedidos são executados da forma correcta e permitir trabalhar o medo da penetração in vivo | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Aim: To describe a case of a 30 year old woman with vaginismus, and the physiotherapy intervention added to the classical model of sexual therapy intervention. Explore the experience of women in relation to therapy, understood as a combination of sex therapy and physical therapy, and understand the woman's perception of changes caused by the inclusion of physiotherapy in the treatment. Methods: To describe the interventions and techniques applied in this particular case. Analysis of Client Change Interview on follow-up. Results: Complete resolution of the case after integration of Physiotherapy in 9 sessions. Discussion: Adding physiotherapy to the classical model in vaginismus treatment seems to have a positive effect on the resolution of the case, as it ensures that the exercises are performed in the correct way, and permits to work the fear of penetration in vivo. | en |
