Abstract(s)
Este estudo tem como tema a contribuição da disciplina de Educação Física para
a formação integral dos alunos, no ensino médio. O principal objetivo é
conhecer a contribuição da disciplina de Educação Física para uma formação
integral, na perspectiva dos professores e dos estudantes. Trata-se de uma
disciplina que, pela sua especificidade, deve levar o aluno a atribuir significados
às práticas corporais, favorecer o desenvolvimento de atitudes positivas, para
com elas levar à adoção de comportamentos adequados à sua prática, conduzir
à reconstrução do conhecimento através de aprendizagens significativas,
reforçar atitudes de solidariedade e de cooperação e contribuir para a
resolução de problemas colocados por uma sociedade em permanente
transformação. Em termos metodológicos, utilizou-se uma abordagem mista,
de natureza quantitativa e qualitativa. Para a recolha de dados aplicou-se um
questionário a 84 alunos de terceiro ano, pertencentes a quatro cursos
diferentes de uma Instituição Federal, e realizou-se uma entrevista
semiestruturada a dois professores da mesma instituição. As conclusões
apontam para a necessidade de se definirem diretrizes pedagógicas e de se
criarem estratégias de ensino diversificadas e adequadas à especificidade dos
alunos, atendendo a diversidade e a diferença, no respeito pela inclusão de
todos os alunos. Os professores devem trabalhar as três dimensões curriculares
(conceptual, procedimental e atitudinal) conjugando teoria e prática, de forma
a responder às necessidades e interesses dos seus alunos, num ambiente de
entusiasmo que promova a criatividade e o desejo de adotar estilos de vida
saudáveis. Estas características fazem com que a educação física desenvolva
metodologias diferenciadas das demais disciplinas, contribuindo para uma
formação plena, a nível cognitivo, socioafetivo e motor.
The theme of this study is the contribution of the discipline of physical education for a complete formation of students in High School. The main objective is to know the contribution of the discipline of physical education to a complete formation, from the perspective of teachers and students. It is about a discipline, defined by your uniqueness, lead the student to understand the meaning of physical activity, developing good attitudes so that to lead to a proper behaviours to practice, lead to the reconstruction of knowledge through meaningful learning, reinforcing attitudes of solidarity and cooperation and contributing to the solution of problems posed by a constantly changing society. In methodological terms, it was used a combined approach both quantitative and qualitative reflections. For acquisition data in this study, a questionnaire was administered to a total of 84 students from High School (Third Year – Brazil), from four different courses in a Federal Institution and a semi-structured interview was realized to two Professors from the same Institution. The final result shows that is necessary define pedagogical guidelines and the creation of diversified teaching strategies focused on the specificity of each student, with a perspective of diversity and difference, in respect of inclusion of all students. The Professors must work on the three curricular dimensions (conceptual, procedural and attitudinal) by combining theory and practice to respond to the needs and interests of their students in an environment of enthusiasm that promotes creativity and desire for healthy lifestyles. These characteristics make physical education develop different methodologies from the other disciplines, contributing to a full training, in a cognitive level, socio-affective and motor.
