As organizaçÔes atuam em ambientes de negĂłcio volĂĄteis, incertos, complexos e ambĂguos (VUCA), com frequentes mudanças e inovaçÔes tecnolĂłgicas que resultam das revoluçÔes industriais que decorreram ao longo dos sĂ©culos. A consultoria de Recursos Humanos estĂĄ a reagir a esta transformação, ao ajustar e inovar o seu leque de serviços e soluçÔes e, assim, criar experiĂȘncias novas e de valor acrescentado para os clientes.
O objetivo principal desta investigação Ă© contribuir para a caracterização do setor de consultoria de Recursos Humanos, identificar os desafios relacionais e tĂ©cnicos dos profissionais decorrentes da transformação digital e, por fim, identificar as competĂȘncias exigidas aos consultores de Recursos Humanos nesta Era digital.
Neste estudo foi utilizada uma metodologia qualitativa, recorrendo-se Ă entrevista semiestruturada para efetuar a recolha de dados. Foram realizadas dez entrevistas a profissionais de consultoria de Recursos Humanos sobre as estratĂ©gias e tĂ©cnicas utilizadas, os desafios tĂ©cnicos e os desafios relacionais decorrentes da transformação digital. Ainda, os dados foram analisados de acordo com os princĂpios da Grounded Theory.
O ano de 2020 foi marcado pela pandemia da Covid-19, o que obrigou a mudanças radicais na forma de trabalhar, o que impulsionou um salto tecnológico de 5 a 10 anos. O desafio estå lançado para o setor de Consultoria de Recursos Humanos: adaptar a sua cultura corporativa à transformação digital e criar um compromisso permanente com a inovação e transformação.
Por fim, são identificadas algumas limitaçÔes do estudo e apresentadas sugestÔes para pesquisas futuras.
Organizations operate in volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) business environments, with frequent technological changes and innovations that were arised from the industrial revolutions that have been carried out over the centuries. Human Resources consultancy is reacting to this transformation by adjusting and innovating its range of services and solutions and thus creating new and value-added experiences for customers. The main goal of this research is to contribute to the characterization of the Human Resources consulting sector and explore the perception of Human Resources consultants regarding the challenges posed by the digital Era to the skills level required in their scope of influence. A qualitative methodology was used in this study, relying on the semi-structured interview to collect data. Ten interviews were conducted with Human Resources consultancy professionals about the strategies and techniques used, the technical and the relational challenges arising from digital transformation. Furthermore, data were analyzed according to the Grounded Theory principles. The year of 2020 was marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, which forced radical changes in the way of working and in the Portuguese market which drove a technological leap of 5 to 10 years. The challenge is launched for the Human Resources Consulting sector: adapt its corporate culture to digital transformation and creating a permanent commitment to innovation and transformation. Finally, some limitations of the study are identified and suggestions for future research are presented.
