Abstract(s)
conclusões do estudo aqui levado a cabo.
detalhe as principais implicações teóricas e práticas. Sugestões de pesquisa futura são também
apresentadas.
The objective of this study is to understand the preparation phase of the Portuguese companies which go to Mozambique. More precisely, to explore the work in the Human Resources Management developed along the preparation of international assignments for Mozambique. On this study, 5 Portuguese companies with experience in expatriating collaborators to Mozambique were selected. A qualitative methodology was used, and a study about multiple case and exploratory was chosen. The semi-structured interviews were used to obtain the data. In the total, Semi-structured interviews were carried out on 12 individuals from 5 organisational representatives and 7 expatriated/repatriated persons from 5 companies based on Portugal. The results suggest that these Portuguese companies prepare the expatriation to Mozambique. However, that preparation is done in an informal way, not still existing a formalized program of expatriations preparation, namely to Mozambique. On the final part, the main results obtained are discussed and presented the conclusions of the study. Based on the findings, the article discusses in detail the main theoretical and managerial implications. Suggestions for further research are also presented.
