Abstract(s)
O trabalho descrito neste relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito da unidade curricular de dissertação e estágio incluída no plano curricular do mestrado em Engenharia Química – ramo de Qualidade. O estágio decorreu na empresa Quinta & Santos Score - Lavandaria e Tinturaria, que propôs o desafio de estudar e otimizar dois processos de acabamento em peça confecionada existentes na empresa. Foi estudado o processo old dye que se trará de um processo realizado integralmente em máquina e que permite obter um efeito desgastado na peça. Este processo surge como uma alternativa ao fade out (outro processo de obtenção de desgaste), que é também descrito com rigor neste trabalho. O produto utilizado no processo Old Dye foi o Nofelding RE, sendo a concentração ótima de 10 g/L. Outro processo estudado foi o aguarela que se trata de um processo manual que permite obter peças com um acabamento que se assemelha a gotas de água, criando dois contraste de cor na peça. O desafio a ultrapassar neste processo foi o facto de se obterem maus resultados de solidez à fricção. Estes maus resultados foram ultrapassados utilizando o Fixamin PUK. Depois de realizados os testes, definiu-se que a concentração apropriada para melhorar a solidez à fricção sem comprometer outras características da peça foi de 30 mL de produto por litro de banho.
The work described in this report was developed within the curricular unit of dissertation and internship included in the curricular plan of the master's degree in Chemical Engineering - Quality. The internship was held at Quinta & Santos Score - Laundry and Dyeing, which proposed the challenge of studying and optimizing two existing finishing processes in the company. Old dye is a process that is carried out integrally on machine and allows na old effect on the garment. This process appears as an alternative to fade out (another process of fade), which is also described with rigor in this work. The product used in the Old Dye process was Nofelding RE, the optimum concentration found was 10g of product per liter of bath. Aguarela is a manual process that allows to obtain garments with na effect similar to drops of water, creating color contrast in the garment. The challenge to overcome in this process was that poor friction fastness results were obtained. These poor results were overcome using Fixamin PUK. After the tests were carried out, the appropriate concentration to improve friction fastness without compromising other characteristics of the part was defined as 30 ml of product per liter of bath.
