O presente projeto tem como objetivo analisar e demonstrar quais os impactos na transição de um negócio tradicional para o digital. Com a utilização da metodologia Design Science Research (DSR), serão minimizados os impactos de segurança entre transações, de bens e valores, como também melhorada a qualidade de serviço prestado. Num mundo em constante desenvolvimento em todas as áreas de mercado, e segundo o relatório anual do ano 2020, 49% da população portuguesa que utiliza a Internet efectuou em 2018 pelo menos uma compra digital. Com a evolução da tecnologia, a percentagem de utilizadores da internet aumenta a cada ano, tendo em 2018 um valor superior a 65% da população, como utilizador assiduo da internet. Dentro destes, mais de 90% da população portuguesa, entre os 15 e os 44 anos, acede à internet. (tudo sobre ecommerce, 2020).
Segundo a Pordata, o número de smartphones em Portugal a dezembro de 2014 rondava os 13 milhões de equipamentos (Pordata, 2014).
