dc.description.abstractAnalyze changes in treatment of osteoporotic hip fractures (OHF) in Portugal, between 2000-2008. Discharges with diagnosis of hip fracture between 2000-2008 were collected from the national register of hospital discharges, mandatory for all Portuguese public hospitals. Chi-square test was used to access independence between sex, age groups, treatment and fatality. Linear regression was used to access temporal trendspt_PT
