Abstract(s)
Esta dissertação foi realizada em colaboração com a Amorim & Irmãos, S.A., e teve
como principais objetivos o suporte à implementação do sistema de gestão de energia de
acordo com a norma NP EN ISO 50001:2012, o desenvolvimento de gráficos modelo de
Produção/Energia e a análise da evolução dos indicadores de desempenho energético.
Neste sentido, e partindo de um objetivo de poupança pela gestão de topo da
Amorim & Irmãos, a implementação foi realizada nas Unidades Industriais que apresentam
maiores consumos energéticos. Embora a implementação se tenha verificado nas várias
Unidades Industriais, no desenvolvimento desta dissertação apenas se considerou os
resultados constatados para as Unidades Industriais Lamas e De Sousa porque o trabalho
foi realizado nestas unidades.
A implementação da norma referida abrange todos os colaboradores da empresa e
foca-se, principalmente, no acompanhamento dos indicadores operacionais no Kaizen
Diário de cada setor, o que possibilita a deteção de possíveis ações de melhoria energética
e permite que se torne percetível para os colaboradores a importância da utilização
racional de energia nos diversos setores e o seu impacto na fatura energética.
O levantamento dos requisitos legais aplicáveis é um dos pontos de maior
relevância, tendo sido constatado que a organização cumpre 95% dos requisitos legais
aplicáveis, enquanto os restantes 5% se encontram em processo de resolução. Verificouse,
também, que as fontes de energia mais utilizadas são a energia elétrica e a biomassa.
A análise diária dos consumos e custos específicos de energia proporcionou a
tomada de ações de melhoria energética, tendo sido registadas 44 medidas de melhoria,
sendo que as medidas executadas contribuíram positivamente para uma evolução
energética positiva. Analisando os dados das Unidades Industriais em 2016 para a
verificação dos desempenhos obtidos, verificou-se que estas se encontram a trabalhar em
prol da diminuição do consumo específico de energia, sendo apenas possível prever que
no final do ano a maioria das metas serão atingidas. Foi possível concluir que a
organização se encontra em atual cumprimento com os requisitos da norma, o que
possibilita a certificação. Para além disso e tendo em conta a melhoria contínua foram
efetuadas sugestões de melhoria que englobam ações de manutenção relacionadas com
motores elétricos, ventilação e o estudo de reaproveitamento de calor produzido por certos
equipamentos, tais como o compressor.
This thesis was carried out in contribution with Amorim & Irmãos, S.A., and had as main objectives the support to the implementation of the energy management system in accordance with the norm NP EN ISO 50001:2012, the development of model charts of Production/Energy and the analysis of the evolution of the energy performance indicators. Considering the objective of costs saving by the top management of Amorim & Irmãos, the implementation was carried out in the Industrial Units that present higher energy consumptions. Although the implementation was verified in the five Industrial Units, to the development of this thesis it was only considered the results regarding Lamas and De Sousa Industrial Units because the work was carried out in these units. The implementation of the above mentioned norm involves all the workers of the company and focus, mainly, on the follow up of the operational indicators at the Daily Kaizen of each sector, which enables the detection of energy improvement actions and allows the workers to understand the importance of the rational use of energy in the several sectors and its impact in the energy invoice. The review of the applicable legal requirements is one of the subjects of higher relevance to be considered, having been evidenced that the organization is in legal fulfilment with 95% of the applicable legal requirements, while the last 5% are in resolution. It was also verified that the main sources of energy are electric energy and biomass. The daily analysis of the specific consumptions and costs of energy enabled the decision about energy improvement actions, having been proposed 44 measures. The already implemented measures had a positive contribute to the energetic performance evolution. Analyzing the data of the Industrial Units in 2016, it was verified that the Industrial Units are working towards the reduction of the specific consumption of energy, being possible to foresee that at the end of the year the majority of the goals will be reached. It was also possible to conclude that the organization fulfills the norm requirements which will enable the certification. Considering the continuous improvement strategy improvement suggestions were made about maintenance actions related with electric engines, ventilation and was also proposed the study of reusing the heat produced by certain equipment’s, such as the compressor.
