| dc.description.abstract | O bullying é um fenómeno social que afeta crianças e jovens em contexto escolar. Partindo deste pressuposto, este estudo teve como principal objetivo aferir a expressão do bullying nos cursos de formação profissional, nomeadamente nos cursos de dupla certificação do Sistema de Aprendizagem, para compreender em que medida uma coordenação de proximidade poderá impedir ou minimizar situações de bullying entre os formandos. A opção metodológica é qualitativa e interpretativa, com um design de estudo de caso, já que se pretendeu compreender os significados que os intervenientes no estudo atribuem ao fenómeno e seus efeitos. O estudo consomou-se através de inquéritos por entrevista do tipo focus group a dois grupos de formandos e entrevista individuais a elementos chave do processo formativo. Os resultados permitem concluir que se verifica desconforto na abordagem do tema. Conclui-se que os formandos percecionam o fenómeno como muito negativo e com efeitos perversos na vida das vítimas, perpetradores e intervenientes indiretos. Numa rutura com as perceções dos profissionais de formação, os formandos consideram os agressores como jovens que não estão integrados e que também sofrem, pelo que precisam de ajuda. Não sendo possível, no âmbito deste estudo, encontrar um nexo de causalidade entre atos de bullying e absentismo ou abandono precoce da formação, identificou-se a necessidade de intervenção constante e próxima da coordenação para gerir potenciais conflitos e dinamizar ações de sensibilização e procedimentos de boas práticas. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | This essay´s main objective is to assess the Bullying manifestation on the vocational training courses, namely on the double certification courses of the Learning System, to understand in what measure a proximity coordination can stop or minimize the Bullying situations among trainees. The investigating methodological option focused on the qualitative and interpretative analysis, with a study case design, since its intention is to understand the meaning that the intervenient on the study give to the phenomenon and its effects. This study aimed to appreciate the prevalence of the phenomenon on the vocational training compared with the regular teaching, identify the profiles of the intervenient (victims and assaulters), understand the acting patterns and the effects of Bullying on the learning process, namely on the absenteeism and dropout from the vocational training. Considering the participants´ subjectivity, we concluded that there´s a discomfort when approaching this topic. We concluded that the trainees’ perception regarding the phenomenon is very negative and has negative effects on the victim, perpetrator and indirect intervenient. Against the vocational training professional´s perception, the trainees consider the assaulters as young people who are not integrated and that also suffer, and thus need help. Not being possible, under the scope of this study, to find causal link between the bullying acts and the absenteeism or early dropout from training, we identified the need for close and constant intervention to manage potential conflicts and develop awareness campaigns and procedures of good practices. | pt_PT |
