A tradução de trabalhos de natureza jurídica, nomeadamente pareceres,
documentos explicativos ou brochuras institucionais, torna-se fundamental quando se
actua na área internacional e se pretende fazer chegar informação de modo mais preciso e
rigoroso possível a interlocutores de diversas nacionalidades. Conhecer a língua original
em que determinado documento é elaborado, bem como analisar e perceber
detalhadamente o que está na mente de quem o elabora, é crucial. Quer numa fase prévia de
negociação, quer numa fase de elaboração de peças, quer em fases intermédias de
concretização de determinados conceitos, o trabalho conjunto jurista/tradutor ganha uma
relevância muito significativa na área da assessoria jurídica internacional.
