Abstract(s)
Quality of life and health of the employee is an important topic to be considered when it comes to administrative activities developed by public employees in general. We aimed to present an overview on the case of the Federal Institute of Rondônia – IFRO, based on the verification of the effectuation of Human Rights of the employee and of the Environmental Agenda in Public Administration in the perspective of its technical employees and managers. The research was based on the survey method and was developed through questionnaires (with open and closed questions related to the same topics) which were handed out to the two categories, and that after analysis had their results compared, with the objective of checking if there is a dialogue between the managing body and the employees related to the questions described in the questionnaires and how each category understands the topics approached. When it comes to the use and development of capacities, we noticed that most of the employees demonstrate autonomy to develop their activities. In relation to the social and internal integration, the employees say they have support from the managing body to find solutions of daily problems, with special attention to, however, some cases that deserve special attention, as the way a boss treats his/her subordinates. Finally, when it comes to safety and health conditions in the labor environment, the employees affirmed they are offered satisfactory work conditions and pointing out the need of a professional for psychological attendance in the institution. In a general way, the institution attends the Environmental Agenda in Public Administration – A3P, and must take note of the expectations of its employees in the points considered critical, and therefore, must assure the accomplishment of the human rights in the labor environment and improve the quality of life of its employees, having as its result the improvement in the development and efficiency of labor tasks.
