Abstract(s)

Society, over the last decades, has been the target of great transformations that are reflected in the human complexity in social and school contexts. This situation has been reflected in the complexity of the exercise of the teaching function, in the field of their technical, scientific and pedagogical competences, as well as in the extension of their functions. Along with these transformations, the Profile of the Students Leaving Compulsory Education emerges as a guiding document for pedagogical practice, which highlights the need to think of a school of a humanistic nature, where everyone can succeed. To this end, it is necessary to rethink the profile of teachers, who are reflective and inquisitive about their pedagogical practices, in order to humanize the teaching and learning process and contribute to the formation of responsible, inclusive, critical and autonomous citizens. In line with the above, this Internship Report appears, within the scope of the Master's Degree in Teaching at the 1st CEB and Portuguese and History and Geography of Portugal at the 2nd Basic Education Cycle, which aims to portray the path of personal, scientific and pedagogical development of the master's student. In addition, this document contains an investigative component that aims to inquire about the contribution of playful-expressive writing and the development of skills and taste for writing, anchored in appropriate writing teaching methodologies, fundamental in the teaching and learning process.
