As mudanças ocorridas na sociedade portuguesa nas últimas décadas, colocam às escolas inúmeros desafios, onde a diversidade cultural deve ser vista como fator de coesão e integração.
A integração de alunos estrangeiros com Português Língua Não Materna (PLNM), além de fator de inclusão, é agente preponderante no sucesso educativo dos alunos e na gestão eficiente e assertiva de qualquer organização educativa.
Partindo da opinião de Duarte (2017), “os estudantes surgem, simultaneamente, como membros das organizações escolares e os seus mais imediatos beneficiários”, apresento uma investigação-ação, assente na construção de conhecimentos que me permitiram desenvolver um trabalho de planificação, desenvolvimento e avaliação, que de acordo com o regulamentado no Despacho n.º 2044/2022, garanta o apoio, a integração, a igualdade de oportunidades, o sucesso educativo dos alunos, numa sociedade mais justa e equitativa, que valorize os cidadãos e a cidadania democrática
The changes that have taken place in Portuguese society over the last few decades pose countless challenges for schools, where cultural diversity must be seen as a factor of cohesion and integration. The integration of foreign students with Portuguese as a Non-Mother Tongue (PLNM), as well as being a factor of inclusion, is a preponderant agent in the educational success of students and in the efficient and assertive management of any educational organisation. Based on the opinion of Duarte (2017), ‘students appear simultaneously as members of school organisations and their most immediate beneficiaries’, I present an action-research project, based on the construction of knowledge that allowed me to develop a planning, development and evaluation work that, in accordance with the regulations in Order no. 2044/2022, guarantees support, integration, equal opportunities, the educational success of students, in a fairer and more equitable society that values citizens and democratic citizenship
