Abstract(s)
O baixo rendimento escolar evidenciado no Brasil, nomeadamente no
município de Cabo Frio, tem estimulado pesquisadores de várias áreas
científicas a investigar as razões das dificuldades de aprendizagem da Leitura
e da Escrita. Desta forma, a demanda de um instrumento para avaliar as
dificuldades de aprendizagem de alunos em processo de alfabetização,
principalmente as decorrentes de processos pedagógicos de ensino, e
minimizar o insucesso é a grande motivação deste estudo. Com base na
experiência de construção de um instrumento individual, especificamente nas
dificuldades decorrentes da aplicação dos testes a um grande número de
alunos e nos baixos resultados obtidos a partir das duas versões deste
instrumento prévio, propõe-se, assim, um instrumento de aplicação coletiva.
Esta investigação tem, assim, como objetivo geral desenvolver um
instrumento sistematizado de rastreio para identificação de prejuízos em
habilidades envolvidas na aprendizagem da Leitura e da Escrita, com aplicação
coletiva em sala, envolvendo crianças matriculadas na educação infantil. Para
dar cumprimento a este objetivo, foram definidas as habilidades preditoras do
sucesso na aprendizagem da Leitura e da Escrita que têm sido rastreadas em
diferentes momentos teórico-investigativos, sendo que essas habilidades
orientaram o processo de construção do protocolo de aplicação coletiva desta
pesquisa. Dado que a abordagem metodológica da pesquisa é pluralista, esta
foi também suportada por dados quantitativos, obtidos em cada uma das
fases de elaboração do instrumento de rastreio, com uma amostra de crianças
da educação infantil de escolas públicas e privadas do Município de Cabo
Frio, de modo a sustentar a reelaboração que o protocolo foi sofrendo ao longo desta pesquisa, sendo, por fim, apresentada a versão que agora se dá
por final do mesmo.
The low academic performance evidenced in Brazil, especially in the municipality of Cabo Frio, has stimulated researchers from several scientific areas to investigate the reasons for the difficulties of reading and writing learning. Thus, the demand for an instrument to evaluate the learning difficulties of students in the literacy process, especially those resulting from pedagogical teaching processes, and to minimize failure is the great motivation of this study. Based on the experience of constructing an individual instrument, specifically on the difficulties resulting from the application of the tests to a large number of students and on the low results obtained from the two previous versions of this instrument, it is proposed, therefore, an instrument of collective application. The main objective of this research it is to develop a systematized screening tool for the identification of impairments in reading and writing skills, with collective application in the classroom, involving children in childhood education. In order to fulfill this objective, the predictive abilities of success in reading and writing learning that have been traced in different theoretical-investigative moments were defined, and these skills guided the process of construction of the collective application protocol of this research. Given that the methodological approach to research is pluralistic, it was also supported by quantitative data obtained in each of the stages of the elaboration of the screening instrument, with a sample of children from public and private schools in the municipality of Cabo Frio, in order to support the elaboration that the protocol was suffering throughout this research, being, at last, presented the final version.
