Abstract(s)
Este trabalho consiste na elaboração de um relatório de estágio realizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino da Música da ESMAE. Este documento foca-se na descrição da minha prática educativa enquanto estagiário na Art’J – Escola Profissional de Artes Performativas da Jobra durante o ano letivo 2017-2018, contém descrições e reflexões sobre as aulas observadas e sobre práticas educativas supervisionadas
a alunos do curso profissional de instrumentista de jazz.
Para além disso o presente trabalho contém um projeto de investigação que procura incidir sobre o contributo da transcrição para a aprendizagem, não apenas através de métodos onde a informação é limitada a material áudio ou previamente
escrito/transcrito pelo autor. É considerada a relevância da perceção auditiva através da capacidade de transcrição, visualização, análise, e relacionamento de conceitos, tais como forma, densidade, motivo, repetição, tensão e resolução. Os resultados deste estudo apontam para a pertinência da transcrição como faculdade essencial para a motivação e compreensão de música dentro do contexto de improvisação.
This work consists in the elaboration of an intership report fot the Master of Music Pedagogy at ESMAE. This document is a description of my educational practice as an intern in Art’J School, part of Conservatório de Música da Jobra, during the year 2018. The report contains descriptions and reflections of class observations and supervised educational practices for the professional jazz performer secondary degree. In addition, the present work also contains a research project that focues on the contribution of transcription to the learning processo of drums perfomance. The report also considers the relevance of the auditory perception through the capacity of transcription, visualization, analysis and the relationship of concepts, such as form, density, motif, repition, tension and resolution. The results of this study point to the pertinence of transcription as an essential faculty for motivation and understanding of music within the context of improvisation.
