Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho é produto do desenvolvimento de um projeto de
investigação, assente na metodologia de Investigação Ação-Participativa, com
o objetivo de proporcionar uma ambiente propício à mudança e melhoria das
condições de vida das pessoas idosas. Recorrer aos diversos métodos e técnicas
permitiu recolher e analisar a informação, de onde emergiram os problemas,
de forma co-constuída.
Após realizar a análise da realidade, emergiu a necessidade de delimitar e
priorizar problemas e necessidades, para as quais foi delineado um projeto de
intervenção que procurou alcançar os objetivos estipulados, a partir de ações
integradas de atividades.
Este projeto procurou que os idosos fossem protagonistas do seu próprio
desenvolvimento, valorizando-se para que posteriormente, refletissem sobre
si e sobre o mundo para que, de forma autónoma se organizassem em grupo e
se tornassem atores de si e da realidade que os envolve, trabalhando na
resolução de problemas.
Este trabalho é fundamental pelo conjunto de processos que contribuíram
para promover a inclusão do idoso na tomada de consciência, de decisão e
capacitação de si, para a criação do grupo, para a transformação pessoal e
grupal e, ao mesmo tempo, como um trabalho contínuo de reflexão e de
partilha entre os idosos, melhorando e fortalecendo relações entre eles.
This work results of the development of a research project, based on the Participatory Action-Research methodology, with the goal of provide an environment conducive to change and improving the living conditions of the elderly. The use of various methods and techniques allowed to collect and analyze information from which the formulation of problems emerged through a collaborative process. After performing the analysis of reality, emerged the need to define and prioritize problems and needs, for which an intervention project was outlined that aimed to achieve the stipulated goals through actions composed by various activities. This project sought that the elderly were the protagonists of their own development, rising to later reflect about themselves and the world to autonomously organize themselves in groups and so become actors for themselves and in the reality that surrounds them, working to solve their own problems. This work is essential for the set of processes that contributed to promote the inclusion of the elderly in awareness, decision-making and training themselves to the creation of the group for personal and group transformation and at the same time, as a continuous work of reflection and sharing among the elderly improving and strengthening relations between them.
