Abstract(s)
A tecnologia está presente no quotidiano da população mundial, em constante
evolução e a mesma é utilizada em diversos setores, modernizando e facilitando
processos anteriormente mais difíceis de realizar antes da sua criação e implementação.
Esta investigação pretende compreender o impacto da tecnologia no setor
turístico, verificando inicialmente a sua importância no paradigma global e
posteriormente a sua aplicação na indústria turistica, colmatando com a possibilidade de
criar uma ferramenta tecnológica que permita que um maior número de turistas visite a
cidade do Porto.
Foi investigado o aumento da procura de aplicações móveis, sendo esta a
ferramenta tecnológica escolhida para promover a cidade do Porto. Par a sua
concretização, foi elaborado um questionário visando compreender as motivações e
interesses dos utilizadores de aplicações móveis turisticas, verificando a inexistência de
uma aplicação que cumpra a totalidade dos requisitos que o consumidor procura.
É neste contexto que é criada a planificação da aplicação Experience Porto
apresentando o seu design e conteúdo consoante os critérios de procura dos utilizadores.

This investigation aims to understand the impact of technology on the tourism sector, initially verifying its importance in the global paradigm and later its application in the tourist industry, bridging the possibility of creating a technological tool that allows a greater number of tourists to visit the city of Harbor. The increase in demand for mobile applications was investigated, this being the technological tool chosen to promote the city of Porto. For its implementation, a questionnaire was prepared to understand the motivations and interests of users of tourist mobile applications, verifying the inexistence of an application that meets all the requirements that the consumers are looking for. It is in this context that the planning of the Experience Porto application is created, presenting its design and content according to the users search criteria.
