Esta pesquisa buscou apresentar o conceito da Ciência Aberta com foco nos instrumentos
adotados para busca, divulgação, realização e legalização da Pesquisa em Aberto.
Utilizando-se da metodologia de pesquisa do tipo exploratória e do estudo de caso no
Instituto Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS), esta investigação combinou análises
qualitativa e quantitativa, com uso de software de computação estatística. Teve por
objetivo principal investigar a percepção dos professores do IFMS em relação à Ciência
Aberta e quais os desafios enfrentados em relação à temática. Sendo o método utilizado
para a recolha de dados o questionário em que foi enviado para 200 docentes tendo
alcançado um total de 117 respostas, o que representa 60% de participação. O
questionário foi enviado com o intuito de investigar qual a importância da Ciência Aberta,
quais instrumentos os docentes utilizam e conhecem, se disseminam sobre a temática com
os alunos, quais conceitos desejam obter mais informações e se desejam que o IFMS
aborde mais sobre a temática através de cursos ou oficinas. Os dados apontaram que os
docentes conhecem alguns instrumentos e até os utilizam, porém não de forma
aprofundada e que desejam mais informações sobre a Ciência Aberta e as ferramentas
disponíveis. O resultado dessa pesquisa vai contribuir para que junto com os outros
bibliotecários da Rede e em conjunto como a Pró- Reitoria de Pesquisa (PROPI) sejam
realizadas ações para disseminar o conceito da Ciência Aberta e dos instrumentos da
temática.
This research sought to present the concept of Open Science with a focus on the instruments adopted for the search, dissemination, realization and legalization of Open Research. Using exploratory research methodology and case study at the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS), this investigation combined qualitative and quantitative analysis, using statistical computing software. Its main objective was to investigate the perception of IFMS professors in relation to Open Science and the challenges faced in relation to the theme. The questionnaire was sent to 200 teachers having reached a total of 117 responses, which represents 60% of participation. The questionnaire was sent in order to investigate the importance of Open Science, which instruments teachers use and know, disseminate the topic with the students, which concepts they want more information about and whether they want the IFMS to address the issue more through courses or workshops. The data showed that teachers know some instruments and even use them, but not in depth and that they want more information about Open Science and the tools available. The result of this research will contribute so that, together with the other librarians of the Network and together with the Pro-Rectory of Research (PROPI), actions are carried out to disseminate the concept of Open Science and the instruments of the subject.
